There was supposed to have class today but it was cancelled because of Haze that has been blown towards Malaysian from Indonesia.
Consider myself #Lucky or #Nah?
Having exams the next day so this sudden holiday would be 50-50 for me!! :)

#DAY3
Today, non-Muslims were called to gather at the hall
Whereas Muslims went to have Solat-Hajat.
Those who were in the hall were in for Moral tips.
Moral, is one of the papers that students will be taking during SPM
Which is important for them!!
The school was lucky enough to be able to invite one of the Moral textbook writers to give a talk to the Upper Form students on how to answer Moral questions in SPM!!
She was soo goodd!!! I wished I have sat in her talk so that I can score A in my SPM.
As both the sessions took longer time, until the recess break, thus students learning period have been shortened.
I was supposed to have relief class but due to the schedule upside-down, I was free for the day.
One of the English teacher asked me and my partner to attend one of the activity that they organised for Academic Week, which is Role-Play.
The students were so good in their role-playing and very professional. Even though some students were nervous and forgot their line, but they were calm when they are acting and so for that, I give them all 100% (in my mind). I am not the judge for the session so I can't give any marks for them. #SORRY
That is the end of day 3!!

#DAY2
The 2nd Day of Teaching Practice
All the classes I am going is just relief class and observation
To know how things worked in the school
My teachers were very helpful
They allowed me to be in the class
First class I entered for relief is a Form 5 class
- Science class with almost 40 students, which can be considered a big class.
- They are quite discipline although they were making some noise (as always, girls they chat with their friends)
2nd Relief Class:
- Form 5 Arts Class - Most of them are taking Literature in English and they were studying An Inspector Calls, which I did during my simulated teaching.
- I managed to give them some useful links so that they can look for more info online.
- There's a girl who has the same name as mine and was able to guess the place where I'm from. *Clever*
- Some of them were taught my my seniors before and they were asking how are they. Kinda touched for still remembering them even though they have left the school for half a year. *considered it a year*
- However, this is also the 2nd time where a student asked me "Teacher, what country are you from?" And the answer to it: I AM FROM MALAYSIA.
WHY? SERIOUSLY MY FACE LOOKED SO MUCH NOT LIKE MALAYSIAN OR WHAT?
Anyway, the class ends at recess.
Before the next class starts, I received news that I am going to have duty for the sports event later at noon. I totally freaked out as my friend's car is with me.
Without it, they can't go back to hostel. I was #sototally in a rush.
3rd relief class:
- The other practical teacher has been telling me things about this class, quite a #naughty class, in a sense.
- I went in and indeed, students were ignoring teachers.
- Anyhow, there's this girl who seemed to be able to control the class *AND IT'S TOTALLY NOT THE CLASS MONITOR. I am grateful to her for helping to control the class.
- Most of the girls are busy doing their hair or chatting with friends. :|
##SWEAT##
I was able to make it back to the school before 1.30 pm as my friend needs to pray. LUCKY ME!!
And so, the sports event made me even more flustered.
Students were participating for long jump and they don't know how to count their steps before jumping. I then asked a Form5 girl and she said not many knows how.
But good for me, the event ended way earlier than we thought. We went to grab a quick lunch and chat with a girl from my class and my friend's class.
It ended with us waiting for taxis and buses and it really is a tiring journey back to UM.
Arrived in my hostel at almost 4.00 pm.
WHAT A DAY
First Time Entering Class #DAY1
So, today was my first day of entering class after the teaching practice has started.
I reported in on Monday but due to examination back at University, I did not enter any of the classes.
And I skipped Tuesday's class because of ..... EXAMINATION!!!
Today, I have 2 relief class on the board and one introduction to the class that I am going to teach.
The teacher was kind enough to let me get to know the students earlier.
However, the first class that I entered was a Form 3 class.
Things started out OKKKAY?!!
The students werein a sense: GOOD?!
There were a few things that I experienced during the Form 3 class:
Later on, I went into a voluntary relief class, which the teacher is the judge for a competition and she asked if I would like to introduce myself.
I said YES!
Here goes the 2nd relief class for today:

There were a few things that I experienced during the Form 3 class:
- A student said that I looked like a Korean??!!! (you must be kidding me, imma pure Malaysian you know!!)
- 5 students came in late without giving me any excuse and here, my gangster-ism started to appear; with my standing position and then my voice :) (it was so cool to have the students' attention)
Later on, I went into a voluntary relief class, which the teacher is the judge for a competition and she asked if I would like to introduce myself.
I said YES!
Here goes the 2nd relief class for today:
- Most students are not in class as the lesson starts after recess (most of them are still on their way to class)
- This is the class that I will be teaching for my teaching practice, with lecturers coming for supervision and things like that! *Headache*
- It is also one of the class that I am going to teach.
- The students were quite excited to have trainee teachers coming in to teach.
- They even hoped that I can teach until the end of the year!
